Canada Post won't be delivering to parts of Okanagan due to wildfire smoke

Canada Post is not delivering packages to Kelowna, Penticton or Oliver today due to wildfire smoke.

"Due to poor air quality in the Okanagan Valley, caused by smoke from wildfires, a red service alert was issued today," according to Canada Post.

A red service alert means Canada Post is suspending delivery for the day and will not be sending mail people out as the air quality has made conditions unsafe.

The three communities will not receive any deliveries, according to Canada Post.

Delivery alerts can be found through Canada Post's website, as well as its social media channels.
