Calling all cowgirls for Kamloops film project

KAMLOOPS - Aspiring actresses in their 20s are being asked to attend a casting call in Kamloops next week.

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District Film Commission says in a news release the casting call is for cowgirls for a "western-themed social online casino."

Women aged 21 to 30 years old who would like to audition are asked to send their current headshots and resume, along with contact information and a video submission to talent@mastermindstudios.ca by Nov. 2.

You can also audition in person on Oct. 30 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Call 250-434-8918 to book an appointment.

The schedule consist of a wardrobe fitting on Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. at The Horse Barn on Mt. Paul Way, followed by filming on Nov. 10.

According to the release, it's a paid performance and all applicants must be eligible to work in Canada, must be comfortable being on camera, and must be able to speak competently and clearly.
