CAE cites restructuring, acquisition costs for drop in Q3 profit; revenue up 15%

MONTREAL - Flight simulator builder CAE Inc. says restructuring, integration and acquisition costs contributed to a reduced profit its fiscal third quarter. Montreal-based CAE says net income attributable to equity holders was $37.8 million or 15 cents per share in the three months ended Dec. 31, down from $45.6 million or 18 cents per share in the comparable year-earlier period. Revenue for the quarter was $522.1 million, up 15 per cent from $453.1 million last year.
