Billionaire's death investigated, husband under arrest

LONDON - London police have arrested the husband of one of Britain's richest women, who was found dead in her home this week.

Police say they want to question him about the circumstances of his wife's death.

Eva Rausing was the American-born wife of Hans Kristian Rausing, whose father made a fortune manufacturing laminated cardboard drink containers.

The philanthropist couple waged a long battle against drug addiction. They were arrested on drug charges in 2008 after Eva Rausing was caught trying to smuggle crack cocaine and heroin into the U.S. Embassy in London in her handbag.

Police say they found her body Monday after they arrested a man on suspicion of drug possession.

Police haven't released the name of the man they arrested, but they gave details of the arrest that make clear he is the dead woman's husband. They say he is receiving medical treatment in a London hospital and remains under arrest.
