Another major subdivision in West Kelowna is being evacuated tonight because of the McDougall Creek wildfire.

Central Okanagan Emergency Operations has ordered the Smith Creek neighbourhood to evacuate for their own safety.

The order comes the same night Casa Loma - on the other side of the city - was put on evacuation alert, showing the breadth of the firefight.

Evacuation orders and alerts and orders are changing often.
