PENTICTON - Brazen thieves took off with a hefty haul from a business in Penticton’s industrial area earlier this week.
Police are continuing their investigation into a theft at Penticton Foundry which occurred sometime on the evening of April 24, Penticton RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jill Wrigglesworth says.
Thieves managed to remove a 1,000-pound spool of copper from the premises Sunday night.
A forklift located on site was used to load the cargo and a 1989 Chevy truck was also taken during the incident.
No staff were on the premises at the time of the theft.
