MONTREAL - Police have raided the Quebec home of boxer Jean Pascal as part of an investigation into a sexual assault complaint.

Authorities say an investigation was launched early Sunday morning after a 25-year-old woman claimed to have had non-consensual sex at a party at Pascal's home in Lorraine, north of Montreal.

Therese-de-Blainville police say Pascal was home at the time of party on Saturday night, but had left Canada by the time officers tried to get in touch with him on Sunday.

The former light heavyweight champion is coming off a dominant unanimous decision over Lucian Bute in Montreal last Saturday.

More than 20,000 thousand people packed the Bell Centre to watch the fight, which was billed as the biggest ever between two Canadians.
