KELOWNA — Some residents in the Ellison area have been put on a boil water notice.
This notices comes after reports of increased raw water turbidity in Mill Creek, a Glenmore-Ellison Improvement District media release says.
Residents will be notified when conditions change or water quality has improved. Approximately 97 households have been affected.
Those residents located at Country Rhodes Strata, Country View Estates Strata or any properties serviced from the Okanagan Lake Source are not affected.
Areas shown in yellow on the map below have been affected. These include households on Anderson Road, Black Road, Booth Road, Fathers Place, Old Vernon Road, Posthill Drive, Posthill Lake Road, Rittich Road, Teather Court, Teather Road, and Whitetail Drive.
