Criminality is not currently suspected in the death of a man whose body was discovered this morning.

Just after 6:50 a.m. today, March 15, Kelowna RCMP was called to assist Emergency Health Services to the 1000 block of Weddell Place for a report of a deceased man.

"Investigators with both the RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service attended to examine the scene," Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Const. Solana Paré said in a press release.

"At this time, criminality is not suspected in the man's death."

The B.C. Coroners Service is also investigating to determine how, where, when and by what means he came to his death. Due to the privacy of the deceased, neither organization will be releasing or confirming identity.

No other information is available at this time.
