Kelowna RCMP are investigating the death of a man at a local park.

Officers are on the scene at Sutherland Bay Park today, Oct. 31, after receiving reports of a man at the park who was believed to be dead, according to an RCMP media release.

Upon their arrival, the officers confirmed the man to be deceased and found that he appeared to have been there all night.

RCMP said the initial investigation shows no signs of foul play.

The BC Coroners Service is assisting in the investigation, in part to identify the deceased man.

Anyone who may have been in Sutherland Bay Park during the evening or early morning hours is asked to phone the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference file number 2023-64998.
