David Bobbitt will appear in Penticton Provincial Court today and is expected to make pleas on assault and sexual assault charges.
Bobbitt has been accused of attacking a 22-year-old Penticton woman and her toddler son on July 30, 2011 at his store on Ellis Street. The two victims were allegedly confined for nearly a dozen hours. He was charged with aggravated assault, two counts of unlawful confinement, aggravated sexual assault, two counts of uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
