MONTREAL - Bloc Quebecois Leader Daniel Paille is expected to announce he is retiring at a news conference in Montreal this afternoon.
He is reportedly stepping down for health reasons.
The 63-year old Paille has been Bloc leader since December 2011.
He was elected as an MP in a byelection in 2009 before being defeated in the 2011 general election.
He previously served as Quebec industry minister in the mid-1990s under the Parti Quebecois.
