Wednesday, March 12, 2014 vs. Kelowna Rockets – 4-1 Loss

Bolton Pouliot was brilliant in goal making 40 saves despite a 4-1 loss. Nick Merkley, Tyrell Goulbourne and Ryan Olsen were the Rockets goal scorers. Olsen added his second of the game into an empty net. Eric Krienke tallied for the Blazers as he was set up nicely by Nick Chyzowski. Click here for Highlights and Recap. 


Friday, March 14, 2014 vs. Prince George Cougars – 5-1 Win

The Blazers surrendered the first goal, but replied with five unanswered goals over the final two periods for a convincing 5-1 win in front of a sold out crowd. Cole Ully, Nathan Looysen, Deven Sideroff, Collin Shirley and Nick Chyzowski scored for the Blazers in the victory. Bolton Pouliot was solid in goal with 35 saves. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Prince George Cougars – 8-3 Loss

In the 2013-14 season finale in Prince George, the Blazers lost 8-3 to the Cougars. Todd Fiddler scored four times to reach 50 goals on the season. Matt Needham, Jesse Shynkaruk and Deven Sideroff scored for the Blazers. Defenseman Cam Reagan got his first WHL point with an assist on Shynkaruk’s goal. Bolton Pouliot made 43 saves in the loss. 2013-14 Season Awards Handed Out

The Blazers handed out their 2013-14 season awards prior to the final home game of the regular season on Friday, March 14th. Forward Cole Ully took home two awards including MVP and defenseman Ryan Rehill won three awards including top defenseman.

Thoughts and Prayers Continue to be with Tim Bozon

The Kamloops Blazers organization is keeping Tim Bozon in their thoughts and prayers as he remains in a Saskatoon hospital with neisseria meningitis.

A 4’ x 8’ banner for Tim was signed by the fans over the final two home games and is being shipped to Saskatoon.
The ‘Tim Bozon Trust’ has been established by the Western Hockey League. $1,078 was collected this past weekend for the trust at the Blazers final home game on March 14th. Donations to the Trust Fund will be accepted at any BMO branch in Western Canada.

WHL Fan Survey

The WHL is offering its fans an opportunity to speak up by completing a WHL fan survey. By completing this survey, you will give yourself a chance at winning an iPod Mini.

2014 Kamloops Blazers Hockey School

Kamloops Blazers Hockey School will run once again from August 11-15, 2014 at the McArthur Island Sports Centre. Sign up quick as space is limited!.

Kamloops Blazers 2013-14 Hockey Cards Available

The 2013-14 Kamloops Blazers Hockey Card sets are now available. They can be picked up for FREE by visiting Canadian Western Bank located at 1211 Summit Drive.

A limited number of cards will also be available for purchase at the Kamloops Blazers corner store or online.
