Beginner skiers can learn to ski or snowboard for only $25 at Big White Ski Resort just in time for the Christmas skiing break.

Called Never Ever Days, the special offer on Sunday, Dec. 11, includes a full day of equipment rental, a lift ticket to the beginner area and two lessons lasting two hours each. Participants must be 19 years old or older.

“Participating in the national program Never Ever Days is a fantastic way for new skiers or snowboarders to meet the challenges of learning a new sport with the guidance from our professionals,” Michael Richards, director of Big White’s Ski and Board School, said in a news release. “Soon enough, they’ll be tackling top of mountain runs and really experiencing the life-long enjoyment of sliding on snow.”

Three more Never Ever Days are planned for this season with Feb. 11 confirmed so far.

This is the first Never Ever Days in two years because of the COVID pandemic.

The ski and board school runs full and half-day training sessions throughout the season. Register by calling 250-491-6101 or emailing skischool@bigwhite.com.

Participants are advised to bring warm mitts or gloves, goggles, jacket and pants, and other warm layers – as well as a credit card and photo ID, Big White says.
