VERNON – Vancouver rocker Bif Naked will headline the music festival component at the Funtastic slo-pitch tournament in June.
The Funtastic Sports Society expects up to 6,000 people each night during the festival which runs from June 26 to June 29 in Vernon at the Department of National Defence grounds, according to a media release.
The Goods and The Young ‘Uns will open for Bif Naked on Friday night. Saturday will be Tribute Night with AC/DC tribute band BC/DC, Guns ‘n Roses tribute group The Nightrain and Leggz, which is a ZZ Top tribute band.
Sunday night will have a country and western flavour with The Dirt, the Shawn Lightfoot Band and the Wild Hogs.
Tickets go on sale for the music festival on May 11 at the Funtastic office at 3401 35 Ave. or online at the Funtastic website.
Tickets are $25 for a day pass and $50 for all three days.
