BCHL Playoffs: Penticton Vees hold off Vernon Vipers

PENTICTON - The Penticton Vees downed the Vernon Vipers 3-2 in game two of the BCHL best-of-seven Interior Division Semi-Final on Sunday, March 6, at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The Vees lead the Vipers 2-0 in the playoff series.

Penticton's Nic Jones scored the game-winner halfway through the second period as the Vees held off a late Vernon push in the third.

Jones, Scott Conway and Tyson Jost scored for the Vees and Zach Driscoll stopped 22 of 24 shots for his first playoff win.

Hunter Zandee and Odeen Tufto replied for the Vipers.

Game three goes Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m in Vernon at Kal Tire Place.
