BC United has announced Jackie Lee will be the party's candidate for Richmond-Steveston for the provincial election next year.

BC United leader Kevin Falcon made the announcement today.

“I am thrilled to announce Jackie Lee as our candidate for Richmond-Steveston. His extensive experience in volunteering and advocating for local businesses make him the ideal candidate to represent the people of Richmond-Steveston. With deep community ties and an unwavering dedication to public service, I am confident that Jackie will be a powerful voice for change on the critical issues facing British Columbians,” Falcon said in a press release from BC United.

Lee’s campaign page says he is an “entrepreneur, a proud Canadian immigrant, and an active community leader,” as well as someone with “educational background in business administration, extended reality engineering, and manufacturing engineering.”

“I am running as the BC United candidate for Richmond-Steveston because I firmly believe that our province deserves a government that delivers real results, not just empty announcements,” Lee said in the release. “As a proud Canadian immigrant, entrepreneur, and community leader, I will work tirelessly to restore safety to our streets, reduce the cost of living for our local families, make housing more affordable, strengthen mental health and addiction services, and address the growing healthcare crisis. United, under the leadership of Kevin Falcon, I know we can fix our province and build a brighter future for all.”
