UPDATE: Missing Alberta man missing in B.C. located

UPDATE: 8:27 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2020

Elk Valley RCMP say the 34-year-old Alberta man reported missing July 16, and believed to be in the Kootaneys, has been located. Police says he has been located in Alberta, and is safe and sound.

All personal information about the missing person has been removed from this article.


3:21 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020

RCMP in the Kootenays are are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 34-year-old Alberta man believed to be in the Elk Valley area.

Anyone with information on the missing persons whereabouts, or the car he is believed to be travelling in, is urged to contact their local police or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
