The B.C. Government is using the wise words of Seth Rogen to encourage young people to stop partying and spreading COVID-19.

Minus the weed part.

Premier John Horgan asked celebrities Ryan Reynolds and Seth Rogen to help reach younger people as the rise in COVID-19 cases in the province in recent weeks has been attributed to people in their 20s and 30s partying.

Both Rogen and Reynolds responded to his request, with Rogen encouraging young people to smoke weed alone instead of party.

"People of British Columbia! Please do not go out to parties and BBQs and other large gatherings! The COVID is still out there! It’s more fun to hang out alone and smoke weed and watch movies and TV shows anyway! Do that instead! Thank you!" reads a Tweet Rogen posted Aug. 15.

"Listen to Seth. The COVID is still out there," reads a Facebook post from the province. The post makes no mention of smoking weed alone instead.
