TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays have placed R.A. Dickey on the bereavement list following the death of the pitcher's father.
Harry Lee Dickey died Tuesday at the age of 63.
R.A. Dickey went 7 1/3 innings and allowed one run in Toronto's 7-1 home victory Thursday night over the New York Mets.
Toronto also recalled infielder Munenori Kawasaki from triple-A Buffalo.
