Award-winning film shot near Kamloops now available on DVD

KAMLOOPS - A local film shot in the Thompson Nicola Regional District is now available on DVD after making the rounds at film festivals around the world.

Shana: The Wolf’s Music was filmed in locations close to Merritt by Swiss director Nino Jacusso. The film’s leading cast members were from the Scw’exmx branch of the N’laka’pamux First Nations, including the Shulus (Lower Nicola Indian Band), Nooaitch, Shackan and Ntsla’tko (Coldwater) First Nations.

Shana was screened in 28 countries and has been featured at over 66 festivals. It has received numerous accolades from best picture, to best director, music and audience awards.
