The asking price of this Lake Country "Waterside Farm" has been dropped from $55 million to $48 million.

The Waterside Farm, a home on an acreage that’s for sale in Lake Country, has seen a drop in its asking price from $55 million to $48 million.
Staff at Jane Hoffman Realty, which has the listing, could not comment on why the price change was made. A text message from the firm earlier this year said the owners are very private people.

The 20,306 square foot main house has a 4,163 square foot guest wing. There’s also an 1,820 square foot caretaker's residence.
It sits on 8.55 acres of land at 12390 Pixton Rd. It has a peach orchard and 850 feet of waterfront on Okanagan Lake.
The home was assessed by B.C. Assessments at $5.2 million as of July 2020.

Jane Hoffman Realty specializes in high-end homes and has 14 houses listed for more than $6 million on its website. Eight are marked sold.
The Waterside Farm is, by far, the most expensive but there is one on the Upper Mission listed for $21 million.

In February, Jane Hoffman Realty sold a home at 4800 Lakeshore Rd. in Kelowna for $11.33 million. It had been listed for sale at almost $14 million.

That was the second most expensive home sold in the Okanagan. Another house, at 12990 Pixton Rd., sold for $12 million in 2019.
Hoffman does not have a monopoly on luxury homes but she may be in for some stiff competition as Faith Wilson/Christie’s International Real Estate has launched a major expansion of its operations in the Okanagan.
