ASHCROFT - The Ashcroft hospital's emergency department will be closed overnight this Sunday.
Interior Health is advising residents in the Ashcroft area that the hospital's emergency department will be closed from midnight on Sunday, Jan. 27 until 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28.
The closure is due to temporary limited staffing availability, according to an Interior Health media release. In the event of an emergency, call 9-11.
Residents may visit the emergency department at one of the following facilities:

Royal Inland Hospital – 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops

Lillooet Hospital – 951 Murray Street, Lillooet

Nicola Valley Hospital - 3451 Voght Street, Merritt
If you are unsure of your need to seek emergency care, Interior Health says to call HealthLink B.C.'s 24 hour service at 8-1-1.
