KABUL - An Afghan official says a roadside bomb has killed a district police chief in the central Ghazni province.
Provincial police chief Mohammad Zaman says the bomb struck the police officer's car during a patrol early Thursday. He blamed the explosion on the Taliban, who frequently attack Afghan security forces.
No one claimed responsibility.
