KABUL - Kabul police say a suicide car bomber has struck a foreign military convoy in the east of the capital.
Hashmat Stanakzai, a spokesman for the Kabul police, says the bomb caused a powerful explosion but it was not immediately known if it caused any casualties.
Television images showed remains of the exploded car littering a street, and several armoured vehicles stopped nearby.
