A Kamloops man has been charged with armed robbery after he asked someone for money in Kamloops and then produced a weapon.
The incident happened in the 1200 block of Summit Drive at about 12:40 p.m., Friday, May 6, according to an RCMP media release.
Police were given a description and nabbed him nearby. RCMP do not say what kind of weapon was used.
Kenneth Seymour, 32, was charged with one count of robbery, police said. He was remanded in custody until his next court appearance, May 16.
