VERNON – A man armed with a weapon robbed a local Cash Stop in Vernon this morning.

The man fled on a bicycle that was recovered in the 4000 block of 27A Street.

Romailler says the Caucasian man is between 45- and 60-years-old with blue eyes and shorter, greying hair. He is around 5’10" with a slim build. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a beige fleece jacket with a dark shirt or jacket underneath, dark pants and dark shoes.
