It looks as though April is going to end on a damp note in Kamloops as soggy conditions are predicted for much of this week.

Environment Canada says to expect the sunny start to today, April 28, to disappear by midday as clouds roll in, bringing a 30 per cent chance of showers to the city starting this afternoon and running through this evening. Kamloops should reach a high of 16 Celsius today with a low of 7 C and a 30 per cent possibility of showers lingering into tonight.

Wednesday should be mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers starting in late morning with a high of 19 C and a low of 8 C expected.

Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 19 C and a low of 5 C, while Friday should see a sun and cloud mix with a high reaching 21 C and a low down to 5 C.

It looks like the first weekend in May will be a mix of sun and cloud both Saturday and Sunday, with highs of 20 C and 19 C respectively.

Monday should see the return of a sun and cloud mix with a high of 19 C.

The normal high and low for Kamloops is 19 C and 5 C.
