Heavy metal rockers Anthrax and Black Label Society are coming to Penticton.
Anthrax will be delivering fan-favourites from all four decades of the band’s tenure, according to a press release from the South Okanagan Events Centre.
Black Label Society broke through with their debut album Sonic Brew in 1999, and dropped their most recent studio album, Doom Crew Inc., last year.
“The stomping, heavy bluesy, recklessly unhinged hard-rock-metal quartet are part invading horde and part traveling carnival, summoning caffeine-fueled cacophony on records and the stage,” the release says.
“Zakk (Wylde, frontman of Black Label Society) has been a friend and an inspiration to me as a guitar player, songwriter, and beard grower since we met in 1988,” Scott Ian from Anthrax said in a press release.
The show is happening Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023. Tickets go on sale Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. through the Valley First Box Office at the SOEC or online through ValleyFirstTix.com.
