Another week of mild weather expected in Kamloops

Kamloops can expect some above seasonal temperatures this week along with a mix of showers, clouds and sun.

Kamloops residents can look forward to a week of above seasonal temperatures.

Environment Canada says today, Jan. 27, should see increasing cloudiness this afternoon with east winds at 30 km/h gusting to 50, and a high of 8 Celsius.

Clouds this evening are expected to give way to showers overnight with a low to 2 C. Snow can be expected at higher elevations. Winds from the east are expected to continue at 30 km/h gusting to 50.

Sunshine is expected Tuesday with a high of 6 C and a low of -2 C.

Wednesday is expected to be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 6 C. Skies should clear overnight with a low to -2 C.

Thursday should see a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 5 C.

Cloudy periods overnight should be accompanied by a 30 per cent chance of showers and a low to 0 C.

On Friday, expect a mix of sun and cloud and high of 5 C, followed by cloudy conditions overnight and a low of 1 C.

The weekend is expected to be cloudy with a high of 6 C on Saturday and 2 C on Sunday.

Kamloops’s normal high and low for this time of year is 0 C and -7 C.
