A single case of COVID-19 has been reported at Okanagan Mission Secondary School in Kelowna.
A news release issued yesterday, Nov. 4, by the Central Okanagan school district did not say whether it was a student or staff member who was infected.
That person is now at home self-isolating.
Interior Health will follow up with anyone else who may have been exposed to this person, the school district said.
This is the fourth school to report at least one case of COVID-19 in Kelowna in recent weeks, including Kelowna Secondary School, St. Joseph Elementary School and École de l'Anse-au-sable which led to the voluntary closure of that school.

Only the two high schools are within the jurisdiction of School District 23. The other two are in the Catholic and French language school districts.
“Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible,” the release reads.
“Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to work closely with Interior Health to determine if any additional actions are required, and to support ongoing communication to the OKM community."
