FILE PHOTO

A large aggressive dog is on the loose in Penticton after jumping out of a vehicle during an impaired driving investigation yesterday afternoon.

RCMP said the brown Mastiff became aggressive with an officer and a bystander before running away.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. yesterday, Jan. 2 near Skaha Lake Road and the Channel Parkway, according to an RCMP media release.

If you spot the dog, you're asked to call the police or the B.C. SPCA.
