MOGADISHU, Somalia - Witnesses in Somalia's capital say a suicide car bomb has rammed into a bus near a popular restaurant in Mogadishu.
Mohamed Abdi, a police officer who was injured in the explosion, said there are many casualties. He did not immediately have an exact number.
An Associated Press reporter at the scene said the car apparently carrying the bomb was destroyed and the bus was on fire.
A journalist colleague wounded while sitting in a restaurant close to the blast said many people were injured inside the restaurant.
