PENTICTON - Improvements to a Penticton bus route will improve transit riders’ ability to get around town on Sundays.

The City of Penticton announced yesterday, Aug. 14, an additional four hours of service will be added to route 5 Main Street, on Sundays starting in September.

The additional time will supplement existing Sunday service provided by route 16 Lake to Lake.

Between both routes, transit users will have 30 minute service along the Main Street corridor between noon and 4 p.m.

More information can be found regarding the service at the B.C.Transit South Okanagan Similkameen website.
