Christmas-themed holograms, lasers and acrobats are coming to a show at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton.

It’s all part of Holiday Dreams, A Spectacular Holiday Cirque – a modern alternative to holiday shows, according to a SOEC media release.

"I wanted the show to present high-end technology and amazing talent seen only in Vegas shows,” producer Fernando Quevedo said in the release.

“We have holograms that are truly magical. We have Lady Light, an award-winning laser performer that 'bends' light and manipulates lasers; we have a lot of audience interaction and comedy."

All elements of the show will be tied together through a whimsical story.

And audiences can look forward to a mischievous elf who tried to mail himself to a tropical island, only to end up in Penticton.

Tickets are $49 to $99 for adults and $29 for kids. They’re on sale now through ValleyFirstTix.com.
