A wet start to the week in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - The week will start off with a some rain but plan for the weather to start clearing up on Wednesday, according to Environment Canada.

Today, Sept. 19, expect a high of 17 Celsius with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a risk of a thunderstorm late this afternoon and into the evening. Showers overnight with the low down to 9 C.

Clouds and showers tomorrow with a high of 16 C. Cloudy periods ovenight Tuesday with 30 per cent chance of showers and a low 9.

The forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud on Wednesday. The high is expected to reach 18 C. The skies will clear overnight with the low down to 6 C.

The weather gets even better on Thursday and Friday with sunshine and highs of 22 C both days. The mercury will drop to around 8 C during the overnight periods.

The normal temperatures at this time of year are highs of 20 C and lows of 7 C.
