OKANAGAN - Sunny weather is predicted for Saturday in the Okanagan before clouds and showers arrive on Sunday.
Rain is predicted for Sunday night and the beginning of next week, but until then, Environment Canada is predicting sunny weatehr the Okanagan.
Today, Sept. 14, sunny skies are predicted across the Okanagan. Winds are likely in the afternoon with a high around 20 Celsius. In Penticton, wind is expected to gust from the north up to 30 km/h late this morning. In Kelowna and Vernon, a 20 km/h wind is predicted to come from the north early this afternoon and this evening. Tonight a low around 6 C is expected.
Temperatures tomorrow will be around 21 C and sunny skies are likely to continue. That night, a low of 5 C is expected across the Okanagan.
Sunny skies are likely to remain on Saturday. The weather office predicts a high of 19 C. That night, clouds are expected to move into the Okanagan.
Sunday is expected to be cloudy with a high of 15 C. Showers are expected Sunday night which is expected to continue into next week.
Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 20 C and lows of 7 C.
