A mix of sun and cloud for the Okanagan this week

Penticton on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017.

OKANAGAN - Temperatures won't get much above the freezing mark this week in the Okanagan.

Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud today, Dec. 4, with a high of 2 Celsius in Penticton, and a high of 0 C in Kelowna and Vernon. Tonight, plan for fog patches across the Okanagan. Overnight temperatures in Kelowna and Vernon are expected to drop to - 7 C while Penticton will likely to fall to -3 C.

It will be mainly cloudy in Kelowna and Vernon tomorrow with fog patches dissipating in the morning and a high of - 2 C. Along with the patchy morning fog, Penticton will see some sunny breaks starting about noon with a high of 1 C.

Forecasters expect a mix of sun and cloud across the Okanagan on Wednesday and Thursday with highs around -3 C both days.

A mix of sun and cloud and a high of -1 C are predicted for Friday, with cloudy periods and a low of -3 C overnight.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 0 C and lows of -6 C.
