Over $8,000 of damage was caused at Penticton Secondary School by a group of four people who climbed onto the roof last month.
The group caused “significant damage” to the school district’s network during the early hours of April 24, according to an RCMP press release.
The suspects arrived at the property on 158 Eckhardt Ave. in what appears to be a white Nissan Juke.
“This kind of damage is senseless,” said Const. Dayne Lyons said in the release.
“Whether accidental or intentional, the repair costs come out of the pot of money that would be better spent on students and education.”
