It was a groovy time

Come join your favourite hippies The Freudian Slips as they go on a far out journey to a time where the clothes were cool and wild,  and the comedy was a gas. The Slips will be presenting a night of short-form comedic hilarity that you won't want to miss. The improv troupe will present a series of short form improv games throughout the night. You'll see some old favorites , but also some new games we've been working on.

Come to the show in your finest sixties garb, and join the elite group of individuals who get front of the line privileges. Tickets available in advance online for $15 at the Chimera Theatre website here or at the door (cash only) for $20. Online ticket sales will close 24 hours before the show.

If you’re looking for a fun day trip this weekend, look no further than Cooney Bay. Within twenty minutes you’ll find yourself in place that feels far away from the city. The area has an expansive beach with lots to explore and you may even be lucky enough to spot a pelican.

For directions on how to get there visit the Kamloops Hiking Club's website.

Local artist Karla Pearce will be hosting a tarot card reading and watercolor portrait event on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18. Starting at 4 p.m. on each day at the Starbucks in the Kamloops Chapter you can have some fun with the art teacher.
