22-year-old woman killed in Prince George home invasion

Prince George RCMP are investigating after a young woman was killed in what appears to be a home invasion yesterday, July 18.

They responded to a complaint of a home invasion in the 2100 block of Upland Street where they found the body of the 22-year-old woman.

“Police believe this was a targeted event and do not believe there to be a further risk to the general public,” an RCMP news release says. “There is no further information available at this time.”

Anyone with information on the home invasion is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at (250) 561-3300.
