A total of 21 impaired drivers were pulled off Kamloops roads in the lead-up to Christmas.
As part of the Kamloops RCMP’s Counter Attack program, the road checks were held on three weekends before Christmas.
The last one netted four impaired drivers who were issued 90-day driving suspensions and had their vehicles impounded for 30 days.
Over the three weekends, 21 people were charged with impaired driving of which 14 received 90-day driving suspensions and had their vehicles impounded for 30 days.
Seven received three-day driving suspensions.
Police also recovered stolen license plates, issued violation tickets and warnings, and served a prohibited driver notice.
