KAMLOOPS - A new development with more than 150 homes is planned for the Aberdeen neighbourhood.

A pair of four storey buildings are planned for 2370 Pacific Way in the south Kamloops neighbourhood, housing 152 units. The project was given the go ahead today, Apr. 4, from council for a development permit. It still needs a building permit before construction begins.

The development will be adjacent to Highland Park and near other amenities at the southern tip of the city, relatively close to the proposed Ajax Mine. The land is currently empty and zoned for projects like this, which also fits into the city plan to increase density.
