The COVID-19 tally at Big White Mountain continues to grow.

Interior Health reports this afternoon, Jan. 15, another 13 cases of COVID-19 have been linked to the community cluster on Big White Mountain. This latest report brings the total number of cases to 175.

Of the known cases, 110 reside on the mountain, with 32 cases active and on isolation and 143 cases recovered, according to an Interior Health media release.

Interior Health is advising everyone in the Big White community to avoid social gatherings and limit socialization to immediate household bubbles.

Risk remains low for families and individuals visiting Big White if public health guidance is followed.

It is safe to go to Big White as long as you stick to your immediate household bubble and avoid any other forms of socializing, Interior Health said.

The health authority continues an outreach program for COVID-19 testing throughout the Big White community.

A COVID-19 test can be booked with an online appointment through the COVID-19 test booking form online here or by phone at 1-877-740-7747.
