Event Description
Event Description of Activity:
This is a free event for women in the Kamloops/Shuswap Region of BC. Event will run rain or shine :) The meeting will take place between 6-630pm at Paul Lake Provincial Park picnic and beach area. Hosts will be set up on a picnic table closest to the washroom facilities. (Map attached in trail info).
Access to the park is free.
We will begin this event with a paddle on Paul Lake at 630pm and end it with a hike to the Gibraltar Rock peak for sunset. Bring your fav snack or bevy to enjoy over sunset

** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified and are not guides. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.**
Liability Waiver: Friendly reminder that it is required to sign the e-waiver before attending your first Women Who Explore event. Please sign on an annual basis.

What to bring:
- Pack your full supply of water for the day
- Pack snacks & a light meal
- Towel
- Paddle board attire (swimsuit ect.)
- Sun protection (sunglasses, sunscreen, ect.)
- Bug Spray
- Extra layers for when the sun goes down
- Raincoat (weather dependent)
- Shoes with good traction
- A light backpack to put layers in as you shed them
- Headlamp
- Cellphone to document a wicked time!!!
