Event Description
Come join our local walk and talk about youth homelessness this Saturday! This is made for anyone who wants to get outdoors this summer and have a conversation about the issue! Maybe take away some new information about the topic, maybe help educate others along the way and share your story! Where: Knox Mountain Park - Entrance parking lot When: Saturday, July 27th @ 9am Who: Everyone What: Casual 5-7 km walk and talk about youth homelessness in Kelowna Why: Educate and Advocate about the youth issues in Kelowna. Share your story. Learn something about supporting teens Cost: $5 donations asking (to support Victoria's Mount Kilimanjaro fundraiser) * Participants come at their own risk and assume all responsibility for their own well- being and belongings. Coordinators will have liability forms that must be signed prior to joining the hike. Dogs welcome at dog- approved parks. Kids of all ages welcome. What to Wear: Loose, comfortable clothing, running shoes, water bottle (if you want). Water will not be provided on hike. Sunscreen. Hats. *Bring camera for photo opportunities*
