Event Description

The volunteers of the Village By the Station garden would like to invite everyone to our 4th annual, Hastings Avenue Community Garden Party on August 25, 2019, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The theme this year is ‘Tea and Yoga in the Garden’. Purple Lotus Yoga will hold an adaptive and seated yoga class suitable to all ages and ability. Chairs will be provided for those who need them. The party will be held in and around the garden on the north side of the Village By the Station Residential Care Home, 270 Hastings Avenue. We will have a ‘Brewing Herbal Tea’ demo, children’s activities and a ‘Teas and Bees’ information table. We will be serving tea, sandwiches, dessert bars and juice. Free for all members of the community. A huge thank you to the City of Penticton and the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan & Similkameen for their generous Neighbourhood Small Grant to enable us to hold this neighbourhood event. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
