Summerhill Pyramid Winery is excited to present the Summer Wine & Laughs festival at Dakoda's Comedy Lounge. This hilarious weekend will feature eight co-headlining comedians over four totally different shows, 7pm & 9pm on Friday and Saturday night. Audience members will be treated to a guided tasting of a white and a red wine and then entertained by the top comedians in the Okanagan Valley. Saturday at 7pm features Phil Maynard and Caleb Campbell. Caleb Campbell is a legend, a born story teller, and a wild man! His lovable charm will make even the most messed up story seem excusable. At first you'll be like, "That's impossible!" But it is real! This guy is a favourite for good reason. Audiences will not be disappointed. Caleb is a Comedy Bloodsport Champion and has appeared on the Okanagan Comedy Festival, The Wine & Laughs Comedy Festival, The Okanagan Comedy Festival, The Kelowna Comedy Festival, Calgary Funny Fest, and is the co-host of the insanely popular Bible Beaters podcast. Phil Maynard is a moustache and a slinger of high brow dick jokes. Having escaped from a religious family in the middle of nowhere known as "The Prairies," his quirky comedy is a refuge for absurdists and will win over any curmudgeon. At first you'll wonder "Am I safe as an audience member, will he tie me to train tracks?" But a thought train of jokes is the only thing coming for you. Phil is not only a Comedy Bloodsport Champion but he has appeared on the Okanagan Comedy Festival, The Wine & Laughs Comedy Festival, The Kelowna Comedy Festival, and is probably lurking behind you as you read this.
