We’re bringing the heat to support the Heat! Join us for a killer night of stand-up as Red Deer Windows & Doors proudly presents Comedy for a Cause in support of UBCO Heat Softball. The show will be hosted by the always hilarious Riley Hindley and will feature Dakota Ray alongside several of Kelowna Comedy’s top comics. It’s going to be wall-to-wall laughs—and thanks to our generous sponsor, 100% of ticket sales go directly to the team. Dakota Ray has the kind of resume that makes other comics consider a career in accounting. Her credits include the Arctic Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs, and CBC’s Comedy Night in Canada with Rick Mercer. She completed the rare Just For Laughs Canada hat-trick (Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal) in 2023 as part of New Faces: Canada. Her debut comedy album, I'll Give You An Indian Act, dropped Halloween 2022 and is available on all streaming platforms, iTunes, Bandcamp, CD, and even vinyl—because she’s cool like that. And heads up: her sophomore album Trailer Treasure is dropping soon! Come laugh for a good cause, support student athletes, and catch a show that’s way more fun than batting practice.
