Event Description

A Peer Group For Individuals Living with HIV in the Vernon and N. Okanagan areas. A loosely organized group of POZ Folks to share the 'lived experience' and to chat about any issues that you might like to bring forward. We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday (some exceptions, keep up-to-date on this facebook event), we have a meeting place in downtown Vernon and will definitely have Pepsi and fresh Pizza to share. These initial meetings are intended for all folks living with HIV -- future meetings may be special occasions to include the partners and allies in your life. We are strictly a Social Group and are looking for your ideas to expand our gatherings -- perhaps game- or movie-nights. Indeed not a 'hook-up' group but who's to say you won't meet that like-minded soul-mate/coffee-buddy? We may be able to help you with a ride or a 'gas voucher' for your travel to these gatherings.
